NexGard for Dogs & Cats:

NexGard is one of the most trusted, vet-recommended options for protecting your pets against fleas, ticks, mites, and worms.

Because these are powerful, highly effective medications, they are classified as prescription-only (POM-V) in the UK. This means you will need a valid prescription from your vet before we can dispense them to you.

NexGard for Dogs

To make dosing easy, the dog-specific range comes in a tasty, beef-flavored chewable tablet given once a month.

• NexGard: The standard monthly chew. It focuses on external parasites, killing fleas before they can lay eggs and eliminating ticks to help prevent tick-borne diseases.
• NexGard Spectra: The all-in-one monthly chew. Spectra covers fleas and ticks, but adds comprehensive internal protection. Crucially for UK dogs, it prevents lungworm, while also treating ear mites and common intestinal worms (roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms).

Because most cats are notoriously difficult to give tablets to, NexGard created a simple, stress-free spot-on treatment.

• NexGard Combo: This is an all-in-one liquid applied to the back of the neck once a month. It protects against external parasites (fleas, ticks, and ear mites) while also treating internal ones (tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms).
