Metacam tablets can be given with or without food and are flavoured so that most dogs will readily accept them. Each chewable tablet can be halved to enable accurate dosing of dogs from 4 kg.
For dogs weighing less than 4 kg, Metacam® 1.5 mg/ml oral suspension for dogs should be used.
Metacam tablets for dogs can only be obtained with a prescription.
