## Can fleas live on humans?

## How to protect your home and yourself

The best way to stop flea bites is to make sure your pets are on a year-round preventative plan — and, if fleas are already established, to treat the house at the same time as the pet.

1. #### Treat the pet Use a vet-recommended spot-on, chew or collar to kill adult fleas and keep new ones from surviving on your dog or cat.
