It’s licensed to start treatment of congestive heart failure in dogs (when the heart can’t pump well enough and fluid builds up, usually in the lungs) caused by leaking mitral or tricuspid valves, or by dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Each single-use 5ml vial contains 0.75mg of pimobendan per ml. Your vet gives it once, as an injection into a vein, in the clinic. It isn’t for use at home. Don’t use in dogs with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, aortic stenosis or other conditions where heart output can’t be improved. Read the official datasheet for warnings, side effects and storage. **This is a prescription item. We can dispatch only against a valid prescription, approved by our vet.** Also available as [Vetmedin 1.5mg/ml Oral Solution for Dogs](https://ashcroft4pets.co.uk/dog-medications/vetmedin-oral-solution-for-dogs/).
