**Daxocox Tablets for Dogs**
 Enflicoxib 15mg, 30mg, 45mg, 70mg or 100mg per tablet. Packs of 4 or 12.

Daxocox treats pain and inflammation linked to osteoarthritis, the wear of joint cartilage, in dogs. It’s also licensed for pain and inflammation around orthopaedic or soft tissue surgery. Enflicoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) that targets COX-2, the enzyme behind pain and swelling.

The first dose is two tablets. After that, it’s one tablet once a week, with or just before a meal.

**Strength by weight**

- 15 mg for dogs weighing 2.5 kg to 4.9 kg
- 30 mg for dogs weighing 5.0 kg to 7.5 kg
- 45 mg for dogs weighing 7.6 kg to 11.2 kg
- 70 mg for dogs weighing 11.3 kg to 17.5 kg
- 100 mg for dogs weighing 17.6 kg to 25.0 kg

Over 25kg: your vet prescribes a higher strength.

**Before treatment**

- Not for dogs with stomach or gut problems, or bleeding disorders
- Not for dogs with kidney, liver or heart problems, or dogs that are dehydrated or have low blood pressure
- Not for pregnant, nursing or breeding dogs
- Not for dogs allergic to enflicoxib, sulphonamides or any of the other ingredients
- Never give with other NSAIDs or steroids, or within 2 weeks of the last Daxocox dose

Give the tablet straight from the blister and never split or crush it. Harmful if swallowed by people, especially children.
